If you wish to start afresh and apologise the report function is not the method to use. Rather you should go to each mods guestbook and apologise there and they can make their own decisions, as for clearing your guestbook it wont happen. Your best alternative would be to become active and make some friends and their posts will push your warnings off your main page. If your sorry for your earlier actions then becomes active and prove it as best you can.

I'm glad you understand what I'm saying well enough to dislike me and the system, it's a welcome change to some people I have to deal with.

Oh, and I'm perfectly aware of the PM system, thank you. It's just that much I prefer writing in guestbooks, since it allows a girl like me to express herself where everyone is able to see (such a new-fangled idea, isn't it?). You're perfectly free to do the same in my guestbook; in fact I'd like to invite you to do just that, then everyone can read all the male chauvanist things you have to say.

It's not a very good idea to cross a moderator. It's an even worse idea to cross Marissa. Oh you've got me there, haven't you? That's called sarcasm, in case you can't grasp that as well as the rules. Are you trying to belittle me by pointing out that I'm older than you? And wow, calling me a 'fan-girl' has really cut me deep, because it's not as if I haven't called myself that a thousand times before. And where on earth did you get the impression that I like magic & fairies? Just goes to show that not only do you NOT know me very well, but that you know your arguments are faltering because you're resorting to being personal. And not doing a very good job of it either...

For the record, imitation is flattery. Paying homage to a style or design is flatter. Stealing someone else's labour of love, crudely slapping a new face on it & calling it your own is NOT falltery. It is ripping.

Just because you said it was a "MOD" still does not make it acceptable. It does not change the fact that you stole someone else's work and then abused it. You were so lazy that you couldn't even be bothered to take their name off it. Yet you think that's acceptable? How would you like it if you've worked for days on a work of art, and then someone stole it, drew spectacles & a beard on it, and then called it their own... you wouldn't, because it's not their work; it's defacing something that someone else has created.

As if you truly believe that making such a minor change to a wallpaper is acceptable for someone else to do, and then call it a "variation" then guess again. Members are not allowed to submit varient versions of their own work. Time and time again we have to delete wallpapers because they are "night version" or "blue version" or a pre-existing wallpaper. So when someone who puts more work into their secondary wallpapers than you did abusing Shinta's Moonlit Angel can not submit it, then why should you?

What makes you think that you are above the rules? Ripping wallpapers is he biggest rule you can break, and yet you are desperately, and rather pathetically, trying to justify it.

It is an attitude that is not welcome here. MiniTokyo has only ever accepted original works of art, and will not at any time tolerate someone who steals and defiles the work of others.

If you can not accept that and choose to leave, then we will not miss you. Only hard working and creative members are welcome here.

Right, to start off with your argument is self-defeating. It is impossible to find an "exact" copy, because what you have done is adapted a pre-existing wallpaper. You have taken Moonlit Angel by the well known and respected wallpaper artist Shinta and changed it. The sad thing is that the only change that you've made has made it worse! You've taken a serene and magical setting, and made it into a mockery by changing the angel's face into something that resembles a blow up doll.

And rather stupidly you have even left Shinta's signature in the bottom left-hand corner!

You know full well that you did not create that wallpaper because you had the nerve to call it "Moonlit Angel MOD". In other words, a MOD-ification of the original "Moonlit Angel" wallpaper.

You really think that by changing something as miniscule as that, that it means you've spent hours creating a wallpaper? No, it means that you have ripped a wallpaper. To create a wallpaper it means that you have creatd the background yourself. To take a pre-existing wallpaper & make minor changers to it is an insult to the person who created it, and is still considered as ripping.

So if you think that I have ruined your MiniTokyo experience, then tough. MiniTokyo does not, and never has tolerated rippers! Because it is the rippers who ruin the real MiniTokyo experience for all the genuine wallpaper creating members.

The real sad thing about this is that you've been a member on MiniTokyo for over a year & a half that you should know the rules by now. You know what you've done, and you're childishly trying to argue about being caught out. So it's pointless for me to ask you to read through the Support Pages like I would if you were a newbie.

Guess again, if you think that I personally have set out to ruin things for you. Your Ripping was brought to the moderators' attention by a large number of consciencous members who reported your so-called "wallpaper" for the Rip it really is.

But if you think that you have been insulted because the rules have been enforced, then think how insulting it must be for someone to discover that their work has been stolen and abused in such a way. So don't pretend that you are the injured party. You have broken the rules, so now deal with it.

And lastly, it is not "crap" that I have enforced the rules in exactly the same way that it has been enforced it for every member of the commuity. You have received exactly (and by "exactly, I really do mean "exactly") the same treatment as everybody else who has ripped wallpapers. This is what happens when you break the rules, and if you don't like it then you have a choice: don't break the rules; or leave.
